Nestled in a stunning yet challenging location, Royal Hotel Paolino is a worthwhile stop for adventurers like myself, bridging my love for outdoor pursuits with a touch of comfort. On my brief stay, the friendly staff made our transition seamless, even if the owner’s demeanor was more reserved. The hotel serves as an excellent base for easy hikes; one trail leads directly to Rufré, where a tranquil pond awaits. While the amenities reflect practicality rather than opulence, the parquet floors and free Wi-Fi offered a satisfying level of comfort. The bar/lounge area and restaurant were functional, though they plotted a balance between luxury and budget allowances. Given the picturesque setting and free breakfast, Royal Hotel Paolino strikes an agreeable balance. If you’re looking for adventure without breaking the bank, this could be the stop for you—just be ready for the winding roads that lead you there.
